Verdict: Ponzi Scheme

Before explaining the details of My Advertising Pays, let me tell you something you might not have possibly known about the Owner of My Advertising Pays, Michael Deese.

Who is Michael Deese? – Is he a Con Artist?

Before Michael Deese launched My Advertising Pays, in the early 2013, he was an affiliate of Rocket Cash Cycler.

However, Rocket Cash Cycler has been shutdown. Rocket Cash Cycler was a matrix-based pyramid scheme that charged participants $315 to join, and then paid them $5000 when enough new recruits had joined. And you can see on his bio, “automatic downline”, “easy business”, “make money on autopilot”, all of these phrases tells me on the kind of a person he really is.

Michael Deese was involved in a Pyramid Scheme in the past, so his credibility is already ruined. I don’t think it would be wise to sign up for a company with such an owner.

Now, What is the My Advertising Pays about?

My Advertising Pays is promoted as a state of the art advertising platform which allows you to share in the profits. This is the video they advertise on their website on how you can earn money.

It claims that it’s so simple that anyone can do it and you will earn within 20 minutes when you get started with My Advertising Pays. All you need to do is sign up and purchase at least 1 credit pack, surf at least 10 adverts on “Traffic Exchange” and watch your profit shares drop into your available account balance every 20 minutes. They make it sound so quick and easy.

What is the My Advertising Pays really about?

Firstly, let’s get started on their old site they use in the past. Very poorly designed site, filled with tons of scams ads.

Now let’s look at their “new” site they launched in April 5th 2016. Well, I must give them credit for improving their shitty design on their site and taking away of the “scams ads” they used to advertise. However, the real reason why they change their site is because they need an exit strategy so Mike and his team can disappear with all the money they’ve pocketed so far.

And if you have notice, there is a “Beta” just on the left hand side of their logo. Screen Shot 2016-06-04 at 6.44.27 PM

So why did they put “Beta”? What is Beta? This is the definition I found on Google – “Beta is a measure of the volatility, or systematic risk, of a security or a portfolio in comparison to the market as a whole. Beta is used in the capital asset pricing model (CAPM), a model that calculates the expected return of an asset based on its beta and expected market returns. Also known as “beta coefficient.”

In simple terms, it means that they are unsure if the company is %100 safe to use, it’s like test run, beta testing. I mean why do they even want to run a site, if they are unsure if it works. Makes no sense at all.

So how can you really earn money from My Advertising Pays?

To get started, you will have to purchase a credit pack that cost $49.99. A credit pack includes 550 regular credits and 10 credit boosters. You can then use these credits to advertise an unlimited number of text ads in the Traffic Exchange. Each 1 Regular Credit is the equivalent of 1 impression of the text ad that you assign it to in the Traffic Exchange, and each 1 Credit Booster will make your ad show for 30 seconds instead of 10 when someone clicks on it.

And there is a credit booster pack with cost $8-$39.60 including additional fees (VX Gatway 2.5% + .35 or Solid Trust Pay 2.5% +.30, adding up to a total of $44.40 for a 500 credit booster pack. They again choose to hide the “additional fees”, hoping that people won’t find out. Once you assign the “credit booster” to your ads, when that ad is clicked, your site will show for 30secs instead of the standard 10 for every booster credit.

When your 30-day free trial period has expired, profit-share earnings will cease until you upgrade to at least a basic membership. The yearly Bbsic membership will cost $24.99 including VX Gatway 2.5% + .35 or Solid Trust Pay 2.5% + .30, adding up to a total of $28.52.

There is also a vacation time which cost $5 per day, including VX Gatway 2.5% + .35 or Solid Trust Pay 2.5% + .30, adding up to a total of $6.81. If you anticipate a period of time where you will be unable to click the required 10 text ads, you may purchase Vacation time in your members back office to avoid a lapse in earnings during the time you will be away.

The Compensation Plan of My Advertising Pays

My Advertising Pays promises you $60 if you spend $50 on a credit pack. However, what they won’t tell you is they charge additional fees (VX Gatway 2.5% +.35 or Solid Trust Pay 2.5% + .30, adding up to a total cost of $55.69. In addition, $3 of your income from a credit pack will go to your available advertising fund which you can’t withdraw and can’t be used for purchasing additional credit packs.

And when you want to withdraw your funds, you will have to pay $3 VX Gatwat direct deposit fee. The total sum will add up to $55.69 + $3 + $3 = $61.69, that’s a profit loss of $1.69, so in reality you will not be making money but losing money. That’s a very sneaky way to pocket money out of people.

There is also a referral program where you can earn up to 10% commission on any advertising products your referral purchases. You have to purchase a higher membership level to get higher referral commissions. (Free 30 day trial 10%, Free after first 30 days 4%, Basic membership 6%, Professional membership 8%, Primetime membership %10)

Note that 5% of all of your earnings are deducted automatically (including referral commissions) and placed into your available advertising fund. This money can be used for the purchase of anything on the site, including vacation time or auto-repurchase, with the exception of credit packs.

Btw, the largest proportion of earnings from My Advertising Pays comes from commissions that members of My Advertising Pays recruit.

Here is a video by Simon Stepsys on how you can make a lot of money from My Advertising Pays. Simon Stepsys is known for running numerous of Ponzi Schemes in the past.

Here is an article that describes him as a “criminal” www.gov-news.org

At 1:06 you will hear him say, “Just keep buy more, buy more and refer more, and you will make more”

However, what My Advertising Pays proclaims that it’s company is not totally contradicts what one of their affiliate is doing. Simple, the company doesn’t abide by their own “rules”.  This is from their site. “No gimmicks, no games, no RECRUITING”

In 14th of October 2015 , My Advertising Pays was shutdown in USA, after being reported several times for it’s fraudulent business model.

My Advertising Pays will no longer permit U.S. registrations for new clients and affiliates. The management team of My Advertising Pays tries to twist the story by saying this “Even though I really hate to pull out of the US, I have absolutely no doubts that this move is going to prove to be one of the best business decisions we’ve ever made. The Euro is a strong and stable currency and we will be able to put 100% of our efforts and resources in the marketplace which is BOOMING right now. Month over month, our international revenue has beat the month prior since October 2014, with the exception of one month, while our US revenue has steadily declined.”

Finale Verdict: My Advertising Pays is a Ponzi scheme.

My Advertising Pays is a similar advertiser-traffic scam that Banners Broker ran in the past. Some of the old affiliates from Banners Broker are now promoting My Advertising Pays. This scam is where you are the advertiser and the traffic for the ads you are selling. The people purchasing the ads are the people that click on the ads. It is basically a closed marketing system where you are marketing to other advertisers.

They have set their system up so that it is prohibitive to take your money out. They are using new investor’s money to pay previous investors. With near worthless traffic, there is little or no reason for someone to be a customer of My Advertising Pays Credit Packs. They have you recruit people with the hopes of making significant income which has little chance of happening.

After reading my post, I would appreciate if you share this with anyone you know who is going through the My Advertising Pays. You will be saving more lives from this scam. This is our fight. To prevent anyone else from being victims and to shut down this fraud internationally. (Already shutdown in USA) If you have lost money to this scam, you can file a complain with the FTC here www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov and tell them your experience with the company.

Lastly, if you have gone through the My Advertising Pays, you can share your experience with me down below! I would be happy to talk to you. 🙂

I’ve come across My Advertising Pays every now and again when looking for make money online opportunities, so came across your review. I had my suspicions about this before and your review has kind of confirmed them.

I personally stay away from programs that have a Compensation plan as it just reminds me of the Empower Network, and I lost money from them so I tend to run away when I see the phrase compensation plan lol.

Another thing that stood out to me was the part about “no recruiting”, but it’s obvious that you make more money through commissions and recruiting others…total contradiction.

I think I’m better off staying away from a program like this.

What legit programs do you recommend for someone looking to make extra money online, or some kind of income online?

If I’m not mistaken I believe that this is yet another one of those revenue sharing sites right? Well it’s built on the same type of model…
I never know what to think about this type of site as there is no sort of guarantee how long they will last – and they have no responsibilty really! I have also heard that this bunch have lost their account with paypal – is this correct?

I can’t believe just how many of these ad buying, revenue sharing programs there are on the internet these days. They just keep popping up like weeds or mushrooms. All of them seem to almost be identical in format and they all run out of money after a while because the system can’t sustain itself. Thanks for bringing another one of these dodgy scams to light.
