Who is Charles Scoville? – Is he a Con Artist?

Before the launched of Traffic Monsoon, Charles Scoville is responsible for quite a number of closed scam sites. These sites are dead, gone, no longer online, improperly closed down without paying out pending and current balances.

Conclusion

This are all facts/evidence I found online. In November 2013, the US Court of Justice seized the funds in Charles Scoville Payza accounts. Most of his “businesses” are registered in Utah, the only state in USA where operating a Ponzi Scheme is still legal. I think these reasons should be enough to stop you from joining such a company with very bad records.

Now, What is the Traffic Monsoon about?

Traffic Monsoon is a PTC (pay to click), traffic exchange, and revenue sharing site. This is their “Main Objective” on their site.

This is a video on how Charles Scoville present his “making money opportunity” site.

In the video, you will keep hearing Charles say “Traffic Monsoon, Traffic Monsoon, Traffic Monsoon” so repetitively that I found it quite unnecessary and irritating. He’s doing that just to boast how his site is the “best”.

What is the Traffic Monsoon really about?

Traffic Monsoon is a type of scam where you buy ads to participate in a revenue share and you click on ads to create traffic for others that buy ads to participate in the same revenue share. It is basically a closed marketing system where you are marketing to other advertisers. The traffic you are buying with Traffic Monsoon is nearly worthless traffic for anything other than the “make money online” niche. The reason it is near worthless is the vast majority of people that are clicking to go to your site are people that are trying to make money by participating in the revenue sharing and are not people who are looking to spend money as customers. Untargeted traffic is absolutely useless and does nothing for your business.

So how can you really earn from Traffic Monsoon?

Firstly, to participate in the revenue sharing you need to purchase an ad pack for $50. Representatives will encourage you to purchase at least 10 ad packs to start.

An ad pack includes:

  • 20 Pay-Per-Click Banner Credits
  • 1000 Traffic Exchange Credits
  • 1 Revenue Sharing Position

By clicking a minimum of 10 ads in a day, you qualify to receive a share in the revenues generated from sales of services.

The compensation plan of Traffic Monsoon.

Purchase an ad pack that gives ad service + a sharing position that will share up to $55 with you. You must click at least 10 ads in the traffic exchange to qualify for referral click earnings & sharing each day. Qualifying lasts 24 hours, just like needing to qualify for referral clicks & rental earnings on a paid-to-click.

More referrals will be more money for you.

10 referrals X $0.10 earnings from cash links X 30 days = $30 from your referral clicks
10 referrals X $0.10 earnings from cash links X 365 days = $365 from your referral clicks
500 referrals X $0.10 earnings from cash links X 30 days = $1,500 from your referral clicks
500 referrals X $0.10 earnings from cash links X 365 days = $18,250 from your referral clicks
1000 referrals X $0.10 earnings from cash links X 30 days = $3,000 from your referral clicks
1000 referrals X $0.10 earnings from cash links X 365 days = $36,500 from your referral clicks

These are really 4 ways to earn with Traffic Monsoon.

  • paid to click
  • using ad services to generate leads to make money in your primary business
  • revenue sharing
  •  direct sales commissions

You’ll receive 10% commissions from all your referral purchases, except for cash link purchases. There’s no commissions from cash link purchases, because all the money from those purchases are divided up to be rewarded to clickers and the sponsor of the clicker.

You can request your first payment when your balance reaches $2.00.
This minimum increases by $1.00 for each withdrawal until you reach $10.00($2.00, then $3.00, then $4.00, and so forth up to $10.00) Then, your minimum will remain at $10.00.

The business opportunity that Traffic Monsoon offers is for you to purchase near worthless ad packs and recruit others to make 10% commissions and additional revenue share from them purchasing the same ad packs. The clicking on the 10 ads is used to give some legitimacy to this Ponzi scheme.

The income disclosure of Traffic Monsoon that does not guarantee that you will be able to make money from the company. Most fraudulent companies will have this because it would save them a lot of trouble when they’re being reported to the authorities.

In January 2016, Traffic Monsoon is not associated with PayPal anymore, so you can’t withdraw your funds through PayPal.

Screen Shot 2016-06-02 at 11.05.14 PM

Why? The Paypal Merchant Risk Team have assessed Traffic Monsoon and feel that Traffic Monsoon is too much of a risk to carry on. Charles can twist it in any way he likes, but there is no way Paypal wrong here. Paypal has process billions of dollars of transactions for hundreds of thousands of businesses so to say that Paypal can’t handle the volume of transactions is plainly ridiculous.

‘The reason for Paypals decision to part ways with your organisation is due to the size of growth in a very short time frame. Due to the amount of growth in the short amount of time, this creates too much risk for Paypal’

Finale Verdict: Traffic Monsoon is a Online Ponzi Scheme. They are using new money from advertisers to pay previous advertisers. With near worthless traffic, there is little or no reason for someone to buy Traffic Monsoon ads unless they want to be part of the revenue sharing program. Traffic Monsoon is operated by a serial scammer that consistently has problems with his payment processors.

After reading my post, I would appreciate if you share this with anyone you know who is going through the Traffic Monsoon. You will be saving more lives from this scam. This is our fight. To prevent anyone else from being victims and to shut down this fraud. If you have lost money to this scam, you can file a complain with the FTC here www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov and tell them your experience with the company.

Lastly, if you have gone through the Traffic Monsoon, you can share your experience with me down below! I would be happy to talk to you. 🙂

Wow! Talk about a thorough evaluation! If I had known the history you share about the guy who started Traffic Monsoon, I never would have joined. I did join about 9 months ago. I purchased 2 ad packs at $50 each. I did manage to pull out about $80 before they did away with Paypal. The rest I see as “lesson learned” and I have moved on. I hope this review helps others! Buyer beware indeed!

Many times now I’ve encountered this site and many times the result has been the same – dodgy, dodgy games! At the end of the day this site apparently doesn’t even opt for paypal – or they are not accepted by paypal ( a big red flag in my book! ). They could also disappear off the face of the earth at any point and take your money – not good!

Hi Sam,
As I have had to sadly find out the hard way myself, any site resembling Traffic Monsoon that “promises” to get traffic to your website business is a total fraud! You never get “targeted’ traffic through these schemes.

Charles Scoville represents the absolute worst of these criminally fraudulent schemers who have been able to reap millions of dollars suckering people into the belief that they can help with the promotion of their businesses.

Buying ads to get traffic or clicking on ads for the same purpose is a total time (and money) wasting venture, yet uninformed people still apparently drink of the Kool-aid being offered by these scams.

It’s too bad that a Charles Scoville, in addition to having the U.S. Court systems seizing his profits from his scam business. but that they also chosen to lock him up in a 10 x 12 foot jail cell for the next decade or so. It would make him out as an example for any other sleazy individual who has the same notions of repeating Scoville’s illegal fraud online business deals.

Anyone buying into this scheme needs to have his/her head examined.
Jeff
